The Outback Steakhouse is (oddly enough) a true piece of Americana. The jewel in its crown, the Bloomin’ onion of course.

As per request, Panang ribs recipe:
1 rack of ribs 3 tsp Panang curry paste 3 tsp coconut cream 1/2 tsp fish sauce 1 lime (juiced)
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl (minus the ribs) and spread the resulting paste on the aforementioned ribs. Wrap the whole thing in a lot of tin foil, placing it in the oven at 300 degrees. After 2 hrs, open up the foil and broil on high till browned. Eat.
Note: Although I have never made this in Canada, it could be made there and therefore probably shouldn’t be on this blog at all.
Cheese steak from a place named “Philly’s” When I asked where the cheese was the owner kindly informed me that it had been squeezed on under the steak. No word of a lie, best lunch ever!
